Public Health

OMPH - overview

The audience for this section of the guide is students in the Oregon Master of Public Health (OMPH) program. The OMPH is a joint program of Portland State University, Oregon Health & Science University, and Oregon State University. Each institution provides access to library resources in a different way for students taking courses at that institution but matriculated through one of the of the other institutions.

See the module for the institution into which you matriculated for information about accessing library resources outside your home institution.

OSU-Matriculated Students Using PSU and OHSU Libraries

OSU-matriculated students taking classes at PSU or OHSU are considered "visitors" for the purposes of using library resources at those institutions.

Please see the Visitor information for the PSU and the OHSU libraries (bottom section of the Using Computers modules).

OHSU- and PSU-Matriculated Using OSU Libraries

OHSU- and PSU-matriculated OMPH students taking classes at OSU are assigned an OSU Network ID (ONID) and an OSU ID number. An ONID account allows students to access OSU Libraries resources from off-campus (authentication is via ONID) for the term they are taking courses.

To borrow books in person from OSU Libraries, OHSU and PSU students must complete and submit a Library Card Application; students will need to provide their OSU ID number on the form.
