Register to Vote

A special election will be held on Tuesday, January 26, in which Oregon voters will determine whether to repeal taxes enacted during the 2009 legislative session. In order to participate in that election, Oregon citizens must be registered to vote by Tuesday, January 5. (To vote in Oregon you must register in the county where you live at least 21 days before the election.)

If you have moved since the November 2008 election, you need to update your voter registration in order to ensure that you receive your ballot in January. If you need additional information about voter registration, you may wish to contact either of the following sources:

Oregon Elections Division (Secretary of State’s Office)
