Use the OSU Libraries (OSUL) catalog to find books in OSU Libraries.

Expand your search to the Summit Libraries catalog if you can't find what you need at OSUL collection. (HOW?)

The library collection is arranged by call numbers which allow browsing by subject -- so if you find a book of interest, very likely the books on either side will be on the same subject. Most of the Valley Library's zoology collection is located on the 1st floor in the QH's and QL's. If you would like to browse the book collection follow the "read more" link below for a breakdown of call number ranges you may want to look at.

Provides systematic positions of all living organisms down to the family level. Index is located in volume 2 and contains both common and scientific names. Length of entries varies--sometimes just the name is mentioned (though references for the taxon immediately superior may be relevant) May be a brief overview of the organism's characteristics, biology and ecology, as well as literature references.
