Standards

Current standards are in the reference collection on the main floor of Valley Library.  

ANSI (American National Standards Institute): TA368.A48

ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials): TA401.A46

The Library purchases individual standards from other organizations (for example, ISO).  Search for these by keyword and "ISO" in the library catalog.

Dissertations and Theses

Scholar'sArchive :  Electronic copies of OSU theses and dissertations.  2007 - present. 

Dissertation Abstracts   Dissertations and Masters Theses completed at US institutions.  If you find a dissertation you're interested in, use ILL to request it. Be aware, though, that not all libraries will lend them.  If you can't borrow a dissertation from another library, you can purchase a copy from Proquest/UMI.

Books:

First see if a book is available through Summit. If it's not, request it through WorldCat.

Articles in journals:

Request through InterLibrary Loan.  Articles are delivered electronically, so the turnaround time is often 24 hours or less but may take up to 5 working days.
