USDA
Dataset
You can search data from USDA in several ways.
I suggest you try to search by Agency & Office first.
You can either type in the agency or office you want to search in the dialog box, or look at the right-hand side for the box of Related Topics.
These are the two agencies I recommend you try first.
(1) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS)
This agency provides statistical information important for farmers, ranchers, agribusiness and public officials. You can try using the second box on you right hand side "Finding NASS Publications"; in this box, you can search by (1)Date (2) Commodity (3) Keyword (4) Release date and (5) Title
This agency provides economic research data to assist the public policy and economic related decision making related to agriculture and related areas. I prefer to use the Publication icon.
you can search by (1) ERS research reports (2) ERS outlook reports (3) ERS elsewhere and (4) Previous ERS magazines; and many more.

You can access electronic journals subscribed by OSU Libraries at http://mw8xt6bj7r.search.serialssolutions.com/
These journals are arranged in alphabetical orders; you should be able to access full-text from this journal list.
To locate references to articles in the scientific literature using these "indexing" databases, begin at the OSU Libraries home page: http://osulibrary.oregonstate.edu. Click on "Databases," and then on the first letter of the name of the database you want to use.
You can also search by subject, select Agriculture, you will see a list of agricultural related databases .
Because they are not all provided on the same web "platform" you cannot (with a few exceptions) search across several databases as once. Most databases are not freely available to the public. They are licensed to the library for OSU use. If you are not on campus, you will encounter our "proxy server" asking you to "authenticate" yourself as a qualified OSU user by entering your name and (new) OSU ID number. Apart from this, you should never be asked for an username and password while attempting to use a database. If you are asked for one, this is usually an indication that the ports are busy. Just try again later.(excerpt from Bonnie Avery's ICA page)
