Example Research Path

Stuck on what research path to take? Here is one example path.

1. Search the OSU library catalog. Then search the Summit catalog. Review the subject headings to find additional resources.

2. Find articles by looking in the database Academic Search premier. Again, check out the subject headings for more resources.

3. Look for newspaper articles (if applicable) in LexisNexis Academic.

At each step, study your results for relevance to your topic :will the result give a narrow or broad perspective; are there terms that better describe or expand my topic that I can use in a new search; what is the author(s) perspective(s).
