Using Catalogs to Find Books & Journals
Use these catalogs to find books at OSU & elsewhere.
- search for books located at Valley library and OSU's other libraries.
- determine if OSU subscribes to a journal in print or electronically.
- search libraries in Oregon, Washington and throughout the world.
- shows if OSU has the item.
- if OSU does not, request the item to be delivered to OSU in 3 business days from another library via Summit.
- if Summit doesn't have it we'll find a library that does-just click the Request from Interlibrary Loan button.

Find Scholarly Journal Articles
Locating articles:
If the full-text of the article does not appear in the database, check OSU Libraries catalog for a print or electronic subscription. If we don't have one, request the article from InterLibrary Loan. (Free!) For some citations you can use the 360 Link to Full Text button
to determine if OSU has a paper copy or an electronic copy of the journal.-

Academic Search Premier provides scholarly, magazine and newspaper articles from many academic disciplines. Click click Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Journals to limit your search. Type pagan* to find the words pagan, pagans and paganism. Type "goddess worship" so the terms appear as a phrase.
