Statistics
There are a number of ways to get meaningful statistics:
- check in books, journal articles and newspaper articles
- search the Statistical Abstract of the United States
- search the web, for example searches like:can help uncover reports with quantitative data from government agencies, professional associations, etc.
- some historical statistics may be found using the Historical Statistics of the United States, 1610-2000

Locating articles:
If the full-text of the article does not appear in the database, check OSU Libraries catalog for a print or electronic subscription. If we don't have one, request the article from InterLibrary Loan. (Free!) For some citations you can use the 360 Link to Full Text button
