Is Library à la Carte a hosted tool? No. It is only available as a local install.
Does it cost money? No. Library à la Carte is open-source software. Currently in it's beta state the tool is extensible and extendable.
Can my library customize the tool? Yes. Currently changes will require a programmer to edit the code base, but we hope to soon provide an API to make this easier.
How long does it take to get up and running? Once your servers are ready, it should take less than a day to install, not including customization.
Can I create other types of pages with the tool? Not yet. The next version will include general research guides too.
